Current Training

Currently, I’m training for the 2017 Eugene Marathon.  I’m not using a specific plan but trying to integrate what I’ve learned from several over the years.  I will start training for the race in late December.  The race is on Sunday, May 7th.


Past Training

Most recently, I ran the 2016 New York City Marathon.  I’m trained with Hudson Elite coaching services in late June but went back to the Advanced Marathoning, by Pete Pfitzinger in mid-September.

Before that, I trained for the 2016 Boston Marathon.  I followed the training philosophy from Run Faster from the 5K to the Marathon: How to be Your Own Best Coach, by Brad Hudson and Matt Fitzgerald.

In summer 2015, I trained for the 2015 California International Marathon .  For that marathon training cycle, I followed a Hansons Coaching Services 60-85 miles per week over 20 weeks plan.
